Rathmullan Welcomes You Back
For the past few months, the people of Rathmullan rallied together to keep our community safe; like every other town, village, and tourism destination in the world, we had to put our welcome to visitors on hold. Following the latest government announcement, plans are now afoot for the gradual re-opening of our town as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted. As we move towards the next phase, the priority continues to be the safety of everyone in our community.
Over the next few weeks and months, we look forward to supporting our local small businesses and employers as they get back on their feet. Activity will be phased in over the coming months in line with government recommendations around travel restrictions and social distancing. We will continue to keep a close eye on government updates, ensuring we comply with the latest guidance.
The plan is to restart the tourism sector by initially encouraging day trippers to the town, showcasing all that Rathmullan has to offer, while adhering to government guidelines. Businesses in the town are committed to ensuring that we can adapt and still offer a great visitor experience, once again welcoming guests with appropriate social distancing in place.
