PLAN YOUR SEASIDE ESCAPE

As part of this year's Earagail Arts Festival, RAMP brings to the beautiful seaside village of Rathmullan a weekend of events showcasing the breadth and depth of experimental music and sound currently being produced.

For the third year in a row from 18-20 July 2025, RAMP Festival returns to Rathmullan for a weekend-long celebration of experimental music and sound, showcasing innovative artists from Ireland’s Northwest and beyond. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lough Swilly, the festival invites audiences to engage with cutting-edge performances, workshops, and installations that explore the connection between sound and environment.

This year’s lineup features an exciting range of artists, including Tim Cape & Maya Kadish, Kate Carr, Juno 3 (Han-earl Park, Lara Jones and Pat Thomas), Judith Hamann, Ryoko Akama, Rob Casey, Ailbhe Nic Oireachtaigh, and Electric Circus with David McCann.

Beyond concerts, festival-goers can participate in workshops and creative projects. These include a collaboration between Aengus Kennedy, Guillaume Beauron and Kate Carr who will work with young composers on a field recording project that captures the unique sonic landscape of Donegal.
