About The Event

It's that time of the year again! The Rathmullan Film Festival is back!

Book early to avoid disappointment as events are likely to sell out/book out fast.

Join our Film Festival in February for four days of‭ ‬great film screenings‭, ‬from local films‭,‬‭ ‬documentaries‭, Irish shorts to new releases‭ ‬‭and old favourites‭, ‬as well as food‭ ‬and‭ ‬film experiences‭,‬‭ ‬industry talks‭, sports fun‭ ‬and ‬pub entertainment‭.‬

      17 Feb | 7-9.30pm | Rathmullan Presbyterian Church - Celebrate Donegal’s rich storytelling and music traditions with the premiere of ‘What’s the Story’ short films, screening of Fiddler on the Road (1972, 40min, G) and live music by Carol Wilson, Sinead Gallagher and local guest musicians. The documentary film follows John Doherty's travels and explores the Doherty family's place in the musical traditions of the countryside. Event sponsored by Northern Ireland Screen.
